The Sani family, owners of Stosa Cucine, is leading the growth and consolidation of the company.
1990
A larger factory was purchased along Strada Cassia in the Val di Paglia area.
2000
Stosa Cucine becomes a limited liability company. Already an established manufacturer of high-design kitchens, Stosa then takes an important step towards becoming an international brand.
2008
Stosa, now a growing international holding, is building an impressive new headquarters of over 50,000 square meters, which remains the heart of the large Stosa family today.

Stosa Cucine is one of the few Italian companies certified by COSMOB, a prestigious body for the manufacturing and wood industry. COSMOB assesses the circularity of production processes and provides companies with objective confirmation of transparency regarding sustainability.
The process covers all phases – from concept and design to material selection and procurement, and final production. It also assesses eco-design, efficient use of all resources, and, finally, the recovery and/or recycling of certified products.
COSMOB monitored and evaluated all these aspects at Stosa Cucine and certified our company's ability to implement an industrial process based on respect for the environment and people, which extends to every stage of the furniture production chain - from production lines to customers' homes.
It has been proven that in Stosa the percentage of materials that can be reused approaches 100%. For example, laminate and melamine panels contain 96% recycled sources.
As an FSC® certified company, Stosa makes an important contribution to preserving the world's forests by using FSC® certified materials and selling FSC® certified products.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international organization that has been working to protect the world's forests for more than 25 years. The Council offers the most reliable international solution that transparently guarantees that wood comes from responsibly managed sources.
FSC® achieves its mission by setting strictly defined standards for good practices in forest management and prescribing ecological, social and economic requirements that must be met as part of the so-called "chain of traceability" . This ensures the traceability of materials originating from forests throughout the entire chain of production and sales.
All Stosa kitchen units are made from materials certified according to the CARB P2 standard. The bodies are made from recyclable boards with an extremely low formaldehyde content, which further confirms Stosa's commitment to protecting the environment and preserving natural resources.
Design and innovation go hand in hand with a raw material selection process that combines the ethics of recycling with respect for the environment.
The panels used are type E1 according to the UNI EN 717-1 standard. The material complies with US regulations: EPA P2 – CARB P2 (CCR Title 17 – § 93120.2 (a); US EPA TSCA Title VI – 40 § 770).
COSMOB Qualitas Praemium (CQP) certification for "Circular Production in the Furniture Industry"
Stosa Cucine has obtained the COSMOB Qualitas Praemium (CQP) certification for “Circular Production in the Furniture Industry” in recognition of the excellent results achieved in recent years in the sustainable use of resources throughout the product life cycle.
The percentage of material that can be reused approaches 100% in the case of laminate , while 96% of melamine is obtained from circular sources.
Stosa Cucine has always been dedicated to the development of an industrial cycle based on respect for the environment and people , without neglecting any of the fundamental processes through which quality furniture must go – from production to the customer's home.
This commitment was the reason for the decision to adopt a circular approach to resources and materials and to re-incorporate them into the supply chain.
